Ha Long translates as "where the dragon descends into the sea" and legends abound as to the origins of the formation of the magical rocks and caves which you can explore from our special overnight boat adventure. There is nothing better than swimming and kayaking in these tepid calm waters, whilst looking for the elusive mysterious Tarasque (dragon) which legend says lives in the bay. Needless to say we don't need motorbikes in Halong Bay, but it is a fantastic experience we add to our motorcycling adventure of the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
